Operations and Special Projects Intern:
We are looking for an intern to work with us in helping with day-to-day operations of our outreach and distribution campaign.  This will involve routine office work as well as development of long-term projects through research and execution.  Special project assignments can be tailored to intern’s interests and skills and might include, but are not limited to:

• Development of video footage from some of our outreach events into special pieces for web and preview DVDs
• Planning and execution of events, including screenings and retreats.
• Research and advocacy work around public policy issues related to slavery reparations and racial reconciliation
• Web site and web presence development

Ideal candidate will have some office, film, or retail experience and a strong interest in civic dialogue around issues of race.  Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are required.

The required commitment is to 10-20 hrs/week for at least two months.
