I saw the program and I know that you’re a part of the good guys ! The same people that help President Obama get elected. I’ve also seen Ken Burn’s “Civil War” for the third time. The Slave trade is a part of our history. The anger is for the Jim Crow period that robbed blacks of the promises of liberty ! We are still trying to over come Jim Crow not so much slavery.

Yusef, we would be delighted to help connect you with any slave trading records which might assist in your search. Do you have any information about Samuel N. Braxton’s ancestors, and when or where they might have arrived in the U.S.?
