(in Bristol)of the DeWolf slave trade. My grandfather (Samuel N. Braxton) born, in or near, 1851 in Richmond, Va. belived to be owned by Carter or George Braxton Jr.(s).
I am cross referencing available imformation.

I saw the program and I know that you’re a part of the good guys ! The same people that help President Obama get elected. I’ve also seen Ken Burn’s “Civil War” for the third time. The Slave trade is a part of our history. The anger is for the Jim Crow period that robbed blacks of the promises of liberty ! We are still trying to over come Jim Crow not so much slavery.
